A Year at a Beaver Pond
Join Al Cornell, writer & retired Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Wildlife Technician, for a presentation on his book, A Year At A Beaver Pond, where he spent over 400 hours observing and photographing a tenth acre beaver pond about eight miles from KVR.
Among his many observations, here, he identified sixty-one species of birds, watched wood ducks chase a mink. Twice! And learned how beavers, a keystone species, build a valuable ecosystem for themselves & other species.
Books will be available for purchase.
