Clarissa Callesen Workshop - Abstract Fiber Sculpting

Using hand stitching and alternative techniques, create organic shapes inspired by creative exercises and the natural environment. Explore combining found objects with fiber to create unique textures and embellishments. After generating lots of shapes and components to choose from, approach the process like an assemblage, combining the individual pieces to create a larger abstract sculpture on top of a rigid armature.
