Free event to kids aged 17 and younger but must be at least 12 years old to shoot a gun. We start the day with basic hunters/ gun safety and then progressed to 6 different learning stations. The stations consisted of Archery\, duck/goose hunting simulation\, shotgun shell reloading\, puppy enrichment\, .22 target shooting (presented by Vortex)\, and clay pigeon shooting. We take a break for lunch and a free kids raffle then proceeded to a live bird hunt. Depending on the youth's skill level in the field they either get to do a field hunt with guides and dogs or participate in the live bird-bird launching.\n\nThank you to all those who volunteer and attend our annual banquet and to all those who volunteer for this event which help fund and make this fun day for the kids a success. \n\n\n\nParents are welcome and encouraged to stay for the day.
